Rose petal chocolate with chillies and spices

Celebrate the aphrodisiac qualities of chocolate with this hot, spicy slab.

Quantity: 1 slab


300g dark chocolate
1 tablespoon cocoa
2 dried chillies, crumbled
1 teaspoon of each- sumac and ground cinnamon
12 beautiful fresh organic rose petals (no pesticides!)


Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and stir in the cocoa, chilli peppers, the sumac, cinnamon and half the rose petals.

Pour onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment and spread into a thin layer using a spatula. Sprinkle the rest of the rose petals over the chocolate and allow to set for about 2 hours in a cool place.

When the chocolate is hard, break into pieces and serve.
